LGBTQ Parent Connections (0-6 months)

Early parenthood is a time of transition and change for many families, and every family’s adjustment to parenthood can look different.  LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer and/or transgender) identified parents may encounter additional changes and may benefit from having a space to discuss their own unique family structure and parenting-related questions. The LGBTQ Parent Connections is a group that meets weekly to build community, discuss the challenges of new parenthood, and our LGBTQ identities. With a small, consistent group of people, new parents will ask questions, share their experiences, and support each other during the beginning of their babies' lives.  This group provides a non-judgmental space to acquire information, share ideas with other LGBTQ parents, and reflect on our own strategies, strengths, and challenges.
