Community Corner

OPEN REHEARSAL- Choral Art Society of South Shore

The Choral Art Society of
the South Shore, now in its 55th season, begins rehearsals for
its Spring 2014 concert on Monday, January 13th, at 7:30 pm at the First
Trinitarian Congregational Church, 381 Country Way, Scituate.

New members are welcome
to join us. We are a non-auditioned community chorus.  We need voices for
all parts – soprano, alto, tenor, and bass.  The ability to read music is
not essential but is helpful.

On Sunday, May 4th, at 4:00
pm, we will perform “Opera Meets Broadway:
Hit Tunes from the Met to the
Great White Way."  We will be
singing opera, Broadway, and operetta choruses, duets, quartets, solos, etc.  Anything is possible, from Rodgers and
Hammerstein to Gilbert and Sullivan.
Young professional opera singers from Boston will join us.
