Teen Tech Week at the Library

On the week of March 9, join us for TEEN
TECH WEEK!
The theme this year is DIY@ your library. Come
participate by joining us this month for any of the following teen programs or
by picking something from the tech list posted in the teen room. Participants
will get a snack and a bookmark. Talk to teen librarian Miss Amy to pick up
your prize! This month’s programs are:



Monday March 3, 7-8pm, Teen Book Club reading the Uglies
by Scott Westerfeld



Monday March 10, 7-8pm, Teen Writing Workshop Topic:
Magic in Stories

Tuesday March 11, 3-5pm After School Movie Come
vote for your tech-themed favorite in the teen room (the top two winners will
be shown this month for a special 2-movie month!)



Friday March 14, 3-5pm Video Game Design Workshop taught
by Empow (Grades 6 to 8)

Teen Tech Week is for any teens in grades 6 to 12. Programs
