Young Adult Author Talk with Wayne Soares

Come join us for a young adult author talk with the inspirational speaker, Wayne Soares. There will also be a book signing after his author talk. Parents are welcome to join their teens for this program.

"Wayne Soares is an actor, author and inspirational speaker.  The former ESPN Radio broadcaster is an in-demand speaker & master of ceremonies and has brought his talents to the coveted podium for a variety of Fortune 500 companies and numerous charitable events.  Most recently, he has served as MC for former New England Patriot and NFL Hall of Famer Mike Haynes' Prostate Cancer Gala at The Four Seasons in Boston and The Moondance International Film Festival at Mohegan Sun. Wayne continues to travel the globe bringing humor and inspiration to our brave men & women of the United States military and has entertained our troops in London, Iraq, Afghanistan and South Korea as well as bases throughout the country.  He is scheduled to visit several military hospitals in Germany this spring.

Wayne won a feature role recently in the true-life movie documentary, My Father My Don and will begin filming in New York City this month.  Last November, Wayne appeared in the movie,"Blind Pass" starring Armand Assante and will begin filming  the sequel, "If The Fates Allow' in January of 2014 in Greece and Amsterdam.  Wayne recently won a role  in the film, "Big Charm" and this February will host his newest television show, "Someone's In The Kitchen" -- a colorful look at former Boston athletes whipping up their favorite recipes. He has penned four books and, his newest one, "Stories That Make A Difference" will be released this spring.  Wayne is the extremely proud father of Wesley, Spencer and a girl, Jessie and devotes his charitable time to The Special OlympicsThe Jimmy Fund/Dana Farber and The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation."
