Patch has partnered with GoFundMe and is helping to highlight worthy campaigns in local communities.

Cristin O'Connell has set up a page on GoFundMe.com to support a medical mission to Marbial, Haiti with the Joe Domond foundation.

The page, titled Medical Mission to Haiti, was set up on Jan. 21, and has raised $590 of the $2,000 goal.

From the page, by Cristin O'Connell:

Hi Everyone: I'm so excited to share with you that I will be traveling to Marbial, Haiti in March and taking part in a medical mission there! I will be joining a wonderful team of doctors, nurses, physical therapists, and other amazing volunteers to help the people of Haiti. As a team, we will provide a variety of healthcare services and treatments – from lifesaving immunizations, prescribed surgeries, and ob/gyn care for mothers, young women, care for children and the community. I am going with the Joe Domond foundation who does educational, spirtual and medical missions yearly to Marbial. I would be so thankful and grateful to receive any donations on behalf of the foundation I am going with. These donations will help support our mission to provide the people of Haiti with quality medical care while we are there such as wound dressings, medications, surgical necessities, etc. Any little support helps out in a big way! Thank you very much for your consideration!
