Forbes House Museum to Participate in Twilight Talk Lecture Series

Robin Tagliaferri, Executive Director of the Forbes House Museum, will present "Bringing the Historic House Museum to Life: Forbes Family Stories and Anecdotes" on Tuesday.

Forbes House Museum Executive Director Robin Tagliaferri will participate in the Twilight Talk Lecture Series co-sponsored by the Victorian Society in America/New England Chapter and Historic New England, on Tuesday, August 21.

Tagliaferri will present “Bringing the Historic House Museum to Life: Forbes Family Stories and Anecdotes.”

The lecture will feature short stories about the Forbes and Perkins families and their participation in the American China Trade.

According to a release from the FHM, “This lecture explores these topics through the prism of an entrepreneurial, civic-minded, and colorful family, prolific in writing their personal memoirs.”

The lecture, which is being held at the Harrison Gray Otis House, 141 Cambridge Street, Boston, starts at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday. A reception prior to the talk will begin at 5:30.
