Welcoming a New Business to Simsbury!

Support your local business!~

First Selectman Mary Glassman, Selectman Lisa Heavner & I celebrated the Grand Opening of Peachwave Self Serve Frozen Yogurt this evening at the Drake Hill Mall.

Small businesses are critical to our community and it's important to support our local merchants; stop in to Peachwave, say hello and enjoy some delicious frozen yogurt. You will not be disappointed.

We wish Peachwave much success and welcome them to Simsbury!

Congratulations to yet another Simsbury business! eVariant, Inc. was recognized today as a 2012 Business Champion at a breakfast sponsored by the MetroHartford Alliance and the Hartford Business Journal. They are a leader in hospital CRM/PRM and marketing automation solutions that dramatically accelerate patient volume growth and improve patient and provider communication. Well done! As Simsbury's next State Representative, I will work hard on behalf of Simsbury businesses at the State Capitol.

Small locally owned businesses need support. If people do not support us small businesses, you will lose that personal touch from business owners who live in your community and care about providing you excellent service and products. As a dog trainer who runs my own facility in West Simsbury - I have a vested interest in providing excellent service to the community. Many big companies don't give you that personal touch - plus have staff turnover that can affect the quality of the service you get. Please support local businesses!
