Dorchester Resident Participates in Special On-Field Presentation during Saturday's New England Revolution Match

Santander Region President Northeastern New England Michael Bruno and Small Business Manager Carla Cavallaro provided 15 Boston-area youth, including Dorchester’s Jayden Pontes, with the experience of a lifetime at Gillette Stadium on October 19. They invited the kids to join them for a special on-field presentation commemorating the culmination of the bank’s “Goals for Charity” community giving campaign prior to the Revolution’s last 2013 regular season match. They were joined by New England Revolution star Lee Nguyen and team president Brian Bilello. Santander is the Official Bank of the New England Revolution. Camp Harborview, Cradles to Crayons and Boys & Girls Club of Boston, each received a $22,000 donation to support programming initiatives from Santander as part of the day’s event.

The participating youth received an up-close and personal view of the New England Revolution players - cheering and high-fiving them as they ran through the “Revs Rally Tunnel” to take the field for before the match vs. Columbus Crew.
