An Arlington man and two from Malden struck a plea deal Monday in their sexual-assault case stemming from a January incident at Curry College.

Justin O. Castor, then 19, of Arlington, Kensley Metellus, then 19, of Malden, and Shakarus D. Semexant, then 20, of Malden, pleaded guilty to felony indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 and misdemeanor assault in Quincy District Court, according to the Currier Times, the college’s student newspaper.

The three men were initially charged with aggravated rape, conspiracy to commit rape, assault with intent to rape and indecent assault and battery.

As a result of their plea deals, the men were sentenced to five years probation, according to the Currier Times.

The men allegedly sexually assaulted a Curry College student in a residence hall after a Jan. 20 dance at the college.

Castor, who graduated from the Hyde School in Maine in 2011, and Metellus, a 2011 Malden High School graduate, both attended Curry College the year prior to the incident. They knew the alleged victim, according to the Currier Times.

Semexant attended Mount Ida College in Newton in 2010 after graduating from Malden High.
