Boston Man Faces Breaking and Entering Charges for Milton Incident

Breaking and entering case to be continued in May

Elijah S. Agard, 22, of 55 Clifton St., Boston had charges of felony breaking and entering in the daytime to place a person in fear and malicious destruction of property over $250 continued to May 11 for a hearing in Quincy District Court. The charges stem from a April 19, 2011 incident in Milton at 12:21 p.m. when police responded to a report of a burglary in progress on Blue Hill Avenue. According to the police incident report, three girls locked themselves in a bathroom when Agard allegedly broke into the house. A bedroom door handle and door jam were damaged, police said.

Milton man to face jury on assault and battery charge

Darryl E. Baskin, 19, of 84 Hudson St., Milton had a charge of assault and battery continued to May 16 for a jury trial in Quincy District Court. The charge stems from a Sept. 21, 2011 incident in Milton at 5:18 p.m. when police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at 84 Hudson St. Baskin's son, according to the police incident report, allegedly kicked him in the leg and placed him in a headlock.

Baskin faces a separate charge of assault and battery stemming from a Oct. 10, 2011 incident at 8 p.m. when police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at the house. In that incident, Baskin allegedly struck his son during an argument over music being played on a computer. The case goes before a jury on May 16.
