Milton man to face jury on assault, property defacement charges

Congyao Jiang, 47, of 4751 Sumner St., Milton had charges of assault and battery and defacing property continued to Oct. 18 for a jury trial in Quincy District Court. The charges stem from a May 5 incident in Milton at 10:37 p.m. when police responded to a report of a domestic incident. Jiang is accused of becoming enraged at his wife over people calling her on her cell phone, taking the phone and breaking it, then slapping his wife across the face during an argument. 

Attleboro man arraigned on burglary charge

Dennis J. Reynolds, 28, of 39 Sumner St., Apt. 3, Attleboro was arraigned in Quincy District Court on a charge of felony daytime breaking and entering. The case was continued to Oct. 26 for a hearing. The charge stems from a Sept. 30, 2010 incident in Milton at 2:32 p.m. when police were dispatched to 60 Crown St. in response to a report of a breaking and entering. Police said the victim allegedly came home and found the kitchen area in disarray, then called 911. Police said they found pry marks on a door. Reported stolen were two Compaq computers, three laptop computers, a printer, a digital camera, checkbooks and jewelry.
