Milton man to face jury on OUI charge
Brendan J. Henry, 26, of 17 Duggan Lane, Milton had charges of operating under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, driving with license suspended, a marked lanes violation and a state highway traffic violation continued to Oct. 2 for a jury trial in Quincy District Court.
The charges stem from a Feb. 13 incident in Randolph at 1:50 a.m. when police monitoring traffic on Route 93 noticed a Toyota Yaris traveling at a high rate of speed and stopped the vehicle.
Milton man arraigned on traffic charges
Richard Rash, 36, of 73 Warren Ave., Milton was arraigned in Quincy District Court on charges of driving with license suspended and speeding. A judge dismissed the first charge upon payment of $200 in court costs. Rash was found not responsible for the second charge. The charges stem from a Dec. 6, 2011 incident in Milton at 11:04 a.m. when police stopped a vehicle they say was traveling 48 mph in a 30 mph zone on Central Avenue.
Court tosses OUI charge against Saugus woman
Anna Missakiane, 27, of 26 Saint James Road, Saugus had charges of operating under the influence of alcohol with serious injury and negligence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unauthorized use of a vehicle, a marked lanes violation, and driving the wrong way on a state highway dismissed in Quincy District Court.
The charges stemmed from a June 20, 2011 incident at 1 a.m. on Route 93 in Milton where police said a vehicle was traveling in the southbound lane without its headlights on. Police later received a report of a three-car crash having just occurred. Both Missakiane and the driver of another vehicle were transported to Boston Medical Center with severe injuries, police said.
Assault and battery charge against Milton woman dismissed
Kerri J. Johnson, 49, of 37 Pilgrim Road, Milton had a charge of assault and battery charge dismissed in Quincy District Court.
The charge stemmed from a Sept. 19, 2011 incident in Milton. Police said they responded to a report of a mother throwing things around the house, upset that there was no food in the house. Police said they found broken glass throughout the living room and dining room.
