Weymouth man charged with distributing marijuana
Wilton Hope, 51, of 58 Shawmut St., East Weymouth had charges of possession to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to violate drug laws continued to Feb. 11 for a jury status hearing in Quincy District Court. The charges stem from a May 13, 2011 incident in Milton at 9:10 a.m. when police allegedly observed a blue 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe passing through the Randolph Avenue and Centre Street intersection at a high rate of speed and then they stopped the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle police said they seized more than 1 ounce of marijuana allegedly packaged for sale.

Darryl D. Kiser, 20, of 57 Paulin Ave., Brockton had a charge of possession to distribute a Class D drug continued to Jan. 16 in Quincy District Court. The charge stems from a Feb. 26 incident in Milton at 7:25 p.m. when police allegedly observed a white vehicle traveling 48 mph in a 30 mph zone on Brook Road. Police then executed a traffic stop. Police said they found inside the vehicle a roll of $840 in cash, another $1,310 in rolled cash, and a bag of marijuana.
