Curry College Students Reportedly Robbed at Gunpoint

Milton Police are investigating an armed robbery early Thursday morning.

Just after 1 a.m. on Thursday, January 17, Milton Police were dispatched to Curry College after a student reported he was robbed at gunpoint on Dana Avenue.

According to Deputy Chief Charles Paris, two students were walking back to campus from the Hyde Park Tedeschi’s when a newer model, two-door, black Honda drove past them, then backed up.

The two male students said a white man got out of the vehicle, showed them a silver handgun and demanded all of one of the students belongings.

The victim was robbed of a backpack, laptop, cell phone and wallet.

The suspect is described as 5’10” and was wearing a black baseball cap, a black hoodie and blue jeans.

After taking the items, the suspect returned to the car, which was driven by a second unidentified person. The suspects fled the scene and the license plate was not identified.

“We’re investigating this with help from Curry College,” Paris said.
