Identity of 78-Year-Old Milton Woman Struck and Killed by Car Not Released

Woman hit by car shortly before 5pm Friday in front of the Milton Police Department lived on West Street.

The identity of the woman who was stuck and killed by a car Friday night while trying to cross Highland Street has not been released, yet she lived on West Street, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney's office.

The driver of the car pulled over quickly, and the Milton police responded quickly, David Traub, a spokesman from the Norfolk County District Attorney's office told Boston.com.

No charges have been filed against the driver and the accident remains under investigation.
