Maine Man Charged with OUI by State Police

Joshua D. Silsby, 24, of 514 Deering Ave., Apt. 1, Portland, Maine failed to show up in Quincy District Court for arraignment on charges of driving under the influence of liquor and a town parking violation. A judge issued a default warrant.

State Police in Milton charged Silsby on Aug. 20, 2011 following a report of a Jeep Cherokee parked at the YMCA gate at Ponkapoag Pond.

Police found a six-pack with five bottle missing before a man came out of the woods and got into the vehicle. Police stopped the vehicle and administered Silsby field sobriety tests, then arrested him on suspicion of being intoxicated.
