Milton Man Charged With Possession of Oxycodone

A  Milton man and a South Boston man were arrested by Braintree police last week after they were allegedly involved in an illegal prescription drug transaction in a Plain Street business's parking lot.

They met briefly in the parking lot – the business was not named by police – and detectives who witnessed the alleged drug dealed stopped them separately, Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.

Joseph S. Dunkle, 25, of South Boston and Sean W. Ferris, 30, of Milton were charged with various crimes after the incident on Feb. 20. Ferris was found with ten 30mg Oxycodone pills and Dunkle with 183 30mg Oxycodone pills and more than $1,600 in cash, Jenkins said.

Dunkle and Ferris were charged with conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substances Act.

Ferris was also charged with possession of Oxycodone and Dunkle with distribution of Oxycodone and Trafficking in Oxycodone.
