Pilgrim Road Home Damaged After Early Morning Fire

The Milton Fire Department extinguished a working fire at 33 Pilgrim Road Wednesday morning.

The Milton Fire Department is investigating a fire that damaged the deck and first floor of a Pilgrim Road residence early on Wednesday morning.

The call of a blaze that started on the back deck and spread into the first floor of 33 Pilgrim Road came in at 3:18 a.m. on February 20, according to Milton Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Mahoney.

When the Milton Fire Department arrived on scene, all occupants of the home were outside and uninjured.

The fire eventually spread into the walls and ceiling of the home, but was contained to the first floor, Mahoney said.
