Police Log: Bullet Found, Vehicle Strikes Pole

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

  • At 11:51 a.m. Wednesday, an officer reported a motor vehicle stop on Blue Hills Parkway. The operator was cited for motor vehicle violations. One party was placed under arrest.
  • At 12:34 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported her son found a bullet on Austin Street. An officer reported a .22 caliber round was located.
  • At 7:18 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a strong odor of gas in the area of Granite Avenue and Squantum Street. An officer confirmed the smell. National Grid was notified.
  • At 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, a 911 caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Canton Avenue. A vehicle struck a utility pole. Fallon transported two parties to BID-Milton.
