Police Log: Car Strikes Milton Tree
This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log from Monday, June 18. Where arrests or charges are mentioned does not indicate a conviction.
The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department:
- At 9:37 a.m. Monday, an officer reported smelling an outdoor odor of gas at Blue Hill Avenue and Belvoir Road. National Grid was notified.
- At 2:28 p.m. Monday, a Norman Street resident walked into the police station to report vandalism to his car. An officer was scheduled to file a follow-up report.
- At 6:49 p.m. Monday, a Church Street resident called the station to report that a white, two-door sedan struck a tree near his house and continued toward Adams Street. Officers confirmed that the unknown vehicle struck a town tree.
- At 11:48 p.m. Monday, a caller from the Dyer Avenue/Blue Hills Parkway neighborhood reported that a group of youths rang her door and ran away. Responding officers could not locate the youths.
