Police Log: Damaged Vehicle Left Unoccupied, Sign Thieves Spotted

This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Friday, December 7. Where arrests or charges are mentioned does not indicate a conviction.

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

  • At 1:50 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a vehicle parked, unoccupied on the median of Squantum Street and Christopher Drive. The vehicle had significant damage. Blue Hills Towing removed the vehicle.
  • At 5:08 p.m. Saturday, an officer reported a motor vehicle stop at Blue Hill Avenue and Vose Hill Road. One party was placed under arrest for a narcotics violation. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
  • At 8:48 p.m. Saturday, a 911 caller witnessed three individuals steal a street sign from Dyer Avenue and Warren Avenue. The parties were described as three teen males, wearing dark sweatshirts. The sign was located nearby, but the parties were not found. The street sign was taken to the DPW yard.
