Police Log: Early Morning Cyclist Questioned, Threat Phone Scam

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

  • At 3:03 a.m. Wednesday, an officer reported a suspicious male on a mountain bike in the area of Windsor Road and Longwood Road. It was learned that the cyclist had been arrested on two occasions by the Milton Police Department for breaking and entering nighttime. The subject was spoken to and sent on his way.
  • At 12:32 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported multiple cars were broken into overnight on Canton Avenue.
  • At 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, a resident walked into the station to report she received several phone calls from an unknown party who threatened to harm the resident's brother if she did not pay a sum of money. No money was exchanged and the incident is believed to be a scam.
