Police Log: Engine Fire, Suspicious Person Arrest

This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Monday, September 24. Where arrests or charges are mentioned does not indicate a conviction.

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

  • At 10:02 a.m. Monday, a 911 caller reported the engine of his vehicle was on fire at Tedeschi’s on Randolph Avenue. The fire was extinguished prior to police arrival, but the vehicle was disabled. Blue Hills Towing removed the vehicle.
  • At 11:04 a.m. Monday, a caller reported vandalism to a baseball field in Cunningham Park.
  • At 12:04 p.m. Monday, a 911 caller reported two suspicious male parties on Courtland Circle. An officer reported that one of the individuals in question was placed under arrest for three warrants issued by the Dorchester Juvenile Court.
  • At 10:56 p.m. Monday, Milton Fire reported a possible water main break at Adams Street and Granite Avenue. The Milton DPW was notified.
