Police Log: Fallen Streetlight, Narcotics Incident

This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Wednesday, September 19. Where arrests or charges are mentioned does not indicate a conviction.

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

  • At 2:05 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a large tree branch down on Canton Avenue. An officer reported the branch was blocking the entire roadway and damaged a power line. NSTAR and DPW were notified.
  • At 8:24 a.m. Wednesday, a caller from Winter Valley reported a streetlight had fallen on her vehicle.
  • At 5:41 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported past vandalism to a Brook Road garage door. An unknown party or parties tagged the doors with a black marker.
  • At 10:07 p.m. Wednesday, an officer reported a motor vehicle stop at Adams Street and Otis Street. One adult male was placed under arrest for a narcotics violation. An adult female was summonsed to court for a violation of the controlled substance act. Blue Hills Towing towed the vehicle.
