Police Log: Five-Vehicle Crash, Fire Hydrant Struck

The following information was provided by the .

  • At 11:19 a.m. Friday, a caller reported vandalism to a lamppost on Artwill Street.
  • At 2:17 a.m. Saturday, a 911 caller reported a single vehicle accident at Briarfield and Brook Road. Three parties were transported to local hospitals. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
  • At 3:30 a.m. Saturday, a 911 caller reported a dark colored pickup truck struck a telephone poll on Meadowview Road. Officers reported the motor vehicle fled prior to their arrival. Verizon was notified of damage.
  • At 10:22 a.m. Saturday, a 911 caller reported a five-vehicle accident at Randolph Avenue and Heather Drive. Blue Hills Towing removed two vehicles.
  • At 2:19 p.m. Saturday, Milton Fire reported a vehicle struck a fire hydrant on Eaton Street. An officer reported the fire hydrant was knocked off its base. DPW was notified.
