Police Log: Injured Deer, Truck Loses Lumber

This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Monday, November 19. Where arrests or charges are mentioned does not indicate a conviction.

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

  • At 8:06 a.m. Monday, a caller reported an injured deer on his Granite Avenue property. An officer reported the animal was badly injured and needed to be put down. DPW was notified to assist.
  • At 9:19 a.m. Monday, a caller from Deer Run Lane reported vandalism.
  • At 12:14 p.m. Monday, a 911 caller reported a truck lost a load of lumber in the middle of Randolph Avenue and Chickatawbut Road. An officer assisted with traffic while the lumber was removed.
  • At 2:26 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a possible breaking and entering to a Pine Grove Street home.
