Police Log: Injured Dog, Break-in Arrest

The following information was provided by the .

  • At 11:54 a.m. Monday, a caller reported he found a black dog at the intersection of Adams Street and Washington Street that may have been struck by a vehicle. The responding officer reported the dog did not require immediate medical attention and was not wearing tags. The dog was transported to the Milton Animal Shelter.
  • At 11:01 a.m. Tuesday, an employee from the post office reported a strong odor of gas coming from a Robbins Street residence. Milton Fire and National Grid were notified.
  • At 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported someone broke into a motor vehicle on Quarry Lane. One adult male was placed under arrest.
  • At 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, an officer reported a traffic stop at Blue Hills Parkway and Curtis Road. One party was placed under arrest for warrant service.
