Police Log: Loose Horse Wrangled, Solicitation Scam

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

Friday, July 5, 2013

At 5:38 p.m. a caller at 40 Whitelawn Ave. reported to the police that they wrote a check to group soliciting and now believes the group is not legitimate. Police instructed the caller to stop payment. Soliciting groups must stop in daily at the police station. 

At 7:19 p.m. a caller at 601 Harland St. reported a loose horse in their yard. Officers, along with neighbors and employees of Hillside Stables secured the horse at the stables until the owner was located.

A report came in from 5 Longwood Rd. about two breaking and entering into motor vehicles at 10:35 a.m.
