Police Log: Lost Puppy, Dumpster Fire

The following information was provided by the .

  • At 11:38 a.m. Wednesday, State Police contacted the Animal Control Officer about a puppy on Blue Hill River Road. The Animal Control Officer found the dog and brought it to the Animal Shelter.
  • At 6:46 p.m. Wednesday, Milton Fire reported a dumpster fire in the alley off Franklin Street. The fire was extinguished. The cause of the blaze appeared to be from illegal dumping.
  • At 10:56 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a two-car accident at Bradlee Road and Blue Hill Avenue. One patient was transported to BID Hospital-Milton. No tows were needed.
  • At 11:03 p.m. Wednesday, Quincy Police reported a breaking and entering in their city. The K-9 unit was tracking the suspect toward Milton on Governors Road. Two Milton patrol cars were dispatched to assist.
