Police Log: Party Dispersed, Car Break-in Foiled

The following information was provided by the .

  • At 12:44 a.m. Saturday, multiple callers reported a loud house party on Mark Lane. The complaints varied from loud music and voices to people milling in the street and cars turning around in driveways. The patrol supervisor, three patrol officers and a Norfolk County Sheriff’s K9 dispersed the crowd.
  • At 2:30 p.m. Saturday, an officer reported a motor vehicle stop on Blue Hills Parkway. One party was criminally cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
  • At 4:01 p.m. Saturday, a resident walked into the station to report three vehicles were keyed on Governors Road overnight.
  • At 11:24 p.m. Saturday, a 911 caller reported a past attempted break into his vehicle on Westvale Road. Two young, white males in dark clothing were observed opening the rear door of the vehicle. A neighbor scared them off, and nothing was missing.
