Police Log: Squirrel Enters Home, Mulch Fire

The following information was provided by the .

  • At 5:37 a.m. Thursday, a Hallen Avenue resident reported a squirrel tore through his kitchen window and entered the residence. The Animal Control Officer gave the homeowner humane exclusion information.
  • At 2:21 p.m. Friday, a caller reported smoke coming from the island at Centre Street and Adams Street. An officer reported a small mulch fire. The Milton Fire Department extinguished the fire.
  • At 2:37 p.m. Friday, a party from Dyer Avenue walked into the station to report his vehicle was broken into sometime overnight.
  • At 3:27 p.m. Friday, a caller reported she was the victim of a hit and run while parked on Central Avenue. An officer reported the unoccupied vehicle was struck by a black pickup truck.
  • At 7:40 p.m. Friday, an officer reported a syringe on the Brook Road sidewalk. Fallon was notified for removal.
