Police Log: Squirrel in Fireplace, Residential B&E

The following information was provided by the .

  • At 10:29 a.m. Friday, a caller from Grafton Avenue reported a past breaking and entering to her motor vehicle.
  • At 3:19 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a squirrel stuck in her Pleasant Street fireplace. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
  • At 5:03 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a pink bike in the parking lot at BID-Milton. An officer picked up the bike and placed it in the bike shed at the station.
  • At 8:44 p.m. Alarm Central reported a burglar alarm at a Pine Grove Street home. Officers reported broken glass on a side door window. Officers checked the home and the perpetrator was not longer on the scene.
  • At 9:05 p.m. Friday, a caller from Blue Hills Parkway requested assistance removing a bat from the home. The animal was removed.
