Police Log: Stolen GPS, Home Break-in

The following information was provided by the .

  • At 1:18 a.m. Thursday, officers assisted the Quincy Police Department in a search for a suspect involved in breaking into a vehicle in their town. One party was located at a Belcher Circle residence. Quincy Police arrested the party.
  • At 6:27 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a past breaking and entering to a School Street home. An officer confirmed the break. Detectives were notified.
  • At 7:23 p.m. Thursday, a caller from Collamore Street reported a GPS unit was stolen from her vehicle overnight.
  • At 8:12 p.m. Thursday, a 911 caller from Craig Street reported someone was trying to open her back door. As a result of the search, officers spoke with four youths at the Pope’s Pond Bridge.
