Police Log: Suspicious Solicitors, Confiscated Knife

This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Thursday, October 18. Where arrests or charges are mentioned does not indicate a conviction.

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

  • At 11:02 a.m. Thursday, a caller from Hallen Avenue reported three people going door to door asking if any deaf parties live at the residence. An officer reported that the parties were Jehovah’s Witnesses offering a new program for people that use sign language.
  • At 5:20 p.m. Thursday, a 911 caller reported a teenage male standing in the area of Conway Road and Lyman Road that was opening and closing a knife. An officer confiscated the knife and sent the teen on his way.
  • At 10:54 p.m. Thursday, an officer reported a water main break at Blue Hill Avenue and Hemlock Drive. DPW was notified.
