Police Log: Vehicle Ditched in Driveway, Motorcycle Racers Cited

The following information was provided by the .

  • At 5:57 a.m. Friday, a caller from Truman Parkway reported an unoccupied motor vehicle with heavy front-end damage parked in his driveway. A query of the registration revealed that the vehicle was involved in a hit and run and was wanted by State Police Milton. State Police notified.
  • At 12:51 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a past assault on Brush Hill Road.
  • At 9:16 p.m. Saturday, several callers reported motorcycles racing on Blue Hill Avenue. Officers stopped two motorcycles in the area. The operators were cited for violation of the auto laws.
  • At 1:24 p.m. Sunday, multiple 911 callers reported a motor vehicle accident at Brook Road and Pleasant Street. Three vehicles were involved in the accident. Four people were taken to area hospitals.
