Police Log: Youth Throwing Water Balloons, Bus Driving with Alert PD Sign

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

Saturday, July 6

A caller reported a wire sparking at 1240 Randolph Ave. Power was out to several homes in the area and NSTAR notified at 5:22 p.m.

A Bat Bus with a Call Police sign activated was driving down Randolph Ave/Chickatawbut at 8:33 p.m. The operator told police they did not shut off the sign after dealing with an intoxicated party in Randolph. No PD service necessary.

A caller reported youths throwing rocks. It turned out to be four youths throwing water balloons at motor vehicles. They were located by a responding officer and picked up by their parents. Cape Cod Lane/Canton Ave. 9:32 p.m.

License plates were reported stolen off a vehicle on Friday night. Report came in at 1:28 p.m. Saturday for 10 Augusta Road.
