Transit Police: Do You Know Who Stole From This Disabled Man?

By Roberto Scalese

Transit Police have asked the public to help them find a man they believe stole from a disabled passenger at Downtown Crossing.

According to police, the man took $20 from the disabled passenger near the turnstiles at Downtown Crossing. They believe the perpetrator took the money directly from the passenger's wallet.

"The subject is described as a Hispanic male with black and grey hair, approximately 5’8” in height, 165 lbs., wearing a red tee shirt, black sweatshirt, jeans, and white sneakers," wrote police on the TPDNews blog. The theft took place on Oct. 17 but police published the video on Nov. 5.

Police ask anyone who can identify the man in the video to call 617-222-1050. You can also leave an anonymous tip by texting to 873873.
