Weymouth Man Charged in Milton Bank Robbery

Paul T. Driscoll, 32, of 490 Front St., Weymouth was arraigned in Quincy District Court on a charge of unarmed robbery. The case was continued to Feb. 1. Bail was set at $500.
The charge stems from an Aug. 30, 2012 incident in Milton at 6:28 p.m. when police were dispatched to Sovereign Bank, 561 Adams St., for a report of a robbery. According to the police report, a white male allegedly passed a note to a teller demanding money. The teller reportedly handed the suspect $10,740 in cash. The suspect then left the bank with a large amount of currency falling out of his pockets, leaving a trail of money.
