Election Tuesday for 12th Suffolk House of Representatives Seat

Precincts 1 and 2 in Milton are within the 12th Suffolk district.

A portion of Milton residents can show up to the polls Tuesday in a contested special election for a state house of representatives seat.

The seat, the 12th Suffolk House of Representatives, is being sought by Democrat Dan Cullinane, independent Lincoln B. Larmond and Edmond Romulus, who is unenrolled.

Residents of Milton precincts 1 and 2 can vote in this election. Precinct 1's polling place is Tucker School, 181 Blue Hills Parkway. Precinct 2's polling place is Milton Senior Center, 10 Walnut Street.

Milton has 10 precincts, eight of which fall within the 7th Norfolk district, but the first two fall within the 12th Suffolk. The Milton Town Clerk’s office provides a list of streets and their corresponding precincts.

The seat was left vacant when Representative Linda Dorcena Forry resigned this year.
