Hillside Street 40B Proposal Returns

Milton has less than the 10 percent minimum affordable housing mandated by the state.

Todd Hamilton, a former candidate for the Planning Board, pitched an affordable housing project to the Board of Selectmen Wednesday night.

The project involves  77 two- and three-bedroom townhouse units on Hillside Street, according to the Boston Globe

Hamilton in the past attempted to build three houses with four-acre lots, but was opposed by neighbors and town officials. He told the selectmen he would apply for 40B status in February, the Globe reported.
