Milton Prepares for Presidential Primary
Milton voters will head to the polls for Super Tuesday.
The Presidential Primary is Tuesday, March 6. Voters in Milton will join voters from 10 states across the country, which will hit the polls for Super Tuesday. The polls in Milton will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Voters will move one hopeful closer to the Republican nomination for President.
Interim Town Clerk Fred Frithsen predicted a 20 to 25 percent turnout for the Presidential Primary here in Milton.

There will be some changes to voting precincts and polling locations in Milton this year due to the 2010 census. Though the town has grown slightly in population, the number of precincts has been .
The former Precinct 10 has been redistricted into the adjacent Precincts 3 and 8. The new plan will also move the polling location of Precinct 2 from to the and Precinct 3 from the to .

Milton Senior Administrative Clerk Rena McDermott said the Clerk’s Office has spread the word about the changes to all voters.
“We sent out notices to all the people affected,” said McDermott. McDermott added that notices have been made via local media outlets and the Board of Selectmen.
Signs will also be posted at polling locations on Tuesday, to inform voters about the polling places and precinct changes.
