Milton Seeks Proposals for Comprehensive Master Plan

The Town of Milton has released a request for proposals for the second phase of the Comprehensive Master Plan.

The Town of Milton is preparing for the second phase of the Comprehensive Master Plan. The plan is moving forward since the last document was written in the 1970s.

The Planning Board and the Master Plan Committee recently completed the first phase with Brown Walker Planners, Inc.

The town is now seeking a consultant, or team of consultants, for the second phase of the planning process.

The second phase will include creating a Comprehensive Master Plan based on the goals of phase one. Town Meeting has appropriated $100,000 for this phase.

Consultants, which must have 10 years of experience, are asked to submit seven bound copies and a CD with one electronic copy of the proposal.

Submissions should be made to William Clark, Planning Director, Town of Milton, 525 Canton Avenue, Milton, MA 02186 no later than 4 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2013.

The full RFP is available on townofmilton.org.
