Milton Girls Basketball Loses to Braintree

The Milton High varsity girls basketball team fell to Braintree 71-40 on Tuesday.

The Milton Lady Wildcats basketball team put on an exciting show against the Wamps of Braintree on Tuesday, January 3. In the end, the game would go to Braintree 71-40, but Milton continues to show overall improvement since the season began.

During the first half Milton (1-4) stayed right with Bay State Conference-leading, undefeated Wamps (5-0). Milton missed their two captains, Katie Krauss and Samantha Curley, who are nursing injuries.

Throughout the second half the Wamps kept the pressure on as their top scorer, Paige Marshall (14 points), and the Wamps pulled away from the Wildcats.
