Junior High Back to School Scavenger Hunt at the Milton Public Library

The Milton Public Library Teen Services Department will hold a back to school scavenger hunt for students entering middle school on September 5.

On Wednesday, September 5 at 3:30 p.m., the Teen Services department of the Milton Public Library will host a Back to School event for junior high school students. A

fter snacking on pizza and hearing a brief introduction to Teen Services, students will participate in a scavenger hunt that leads them through the library’s physical and virtual spaces.  

“We're very close to , so it's common to get a big junior high crowd in the Teen Space after school,” said Young Adult Librarian Emily Calkins. “This event is a fun opportunity to welcome our returning regulars, introduce new students to the library’s collections and programs, and review our expectations about library behavior.”

The Back to School Scavenger Hunt is open to junior high students (grades 6, 7 and 8) from all area schools. Pizza and soft drinks will be served. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library.
