The independent college preparatory K–12 school announced on Facebook Wednesday that that more than 3,300 alumni, parents and friends gave to Milton Academy this year.

The money helps support day-to-day activities, according to the academy's website.

"A vital source of expendable dollars, the Annual Fund has historically provided seven to ten percent of Milton's yearly operating budget. Through giving to the Annual Fund, alumni, parents and friends strengthen the highest priorities of the Academy: exceptional academics, passionate faculty, broad opportunities, and talented classmates who are often lifetime friends."
