Tablets, Netbooks Coming to Milton Schools

Six Milton Schools are slated to get $150,000 in gadgets, including Kindles, iPads and netbooks. The grant comes from the Milton Foundation for Education, according to Boston.com.

The grant is part of a multi-year effort to introduce high-tech education to the classroom. The private funding is not meant to replace public school funding, but instead is meant to prove the program can work, according to boston.com.
