Viewfinder: Milton Celebrates Education at Big Backyard Bash

Over 800 people were at the Boston Marriott Quincy on Saturday, April 2 for the 12th Annual Celebration for Education, the Big Backyard Bash.

Even before the event began the Milton Foundation for Education raised $100,000 for the six schools in the Milton Public Schools. That number was expected to double with the silent and live auction. Besides the auctions, the kickoff to summer event included a mechanical bull and a backyard barbeque theme. Anne Coghlan and Gary Kelly were also honored at Saturday's event.
