Monster Dash Moved to November 6

The Milton Foundation for Education Monster Dash has be rescheduled for Sunday, November 6, after last weekend's inclement weather.

The following is the rescheduling announcement for the 13th Annual Monster Dash from event co-chairs Patti Elliott and Denise Queally.

The Milton Foundation for Education (MFE) hopes you had a very Happy Halloween, but it's not quite time to put away your costumes just yet.

Please join us this Sunday, November 6, at from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. for MFE's 13th Annual . This important community event, organized in loving memory of Sam Cichello, raises much needed funds for science enrichment initiatives in all four elementary schools in Milton.

Thanks to all our wonderful sponsors and volunteers, we have rescheduled the Monster Dash as a result of last Sunday's cancellation due to inclement weather.

The 5K Monster Dash will start at 10 a.m. this Sunday. Beginning at 9 a.m., we will hold a kids' costumed fun run for children 10 and under, with everyone receiving a medal. We also have lots of exciting kids' activities planned thanks especially to the Toy Box, CATZ, Trailside Museum and a DJ!

The cost for 5K runners is only $25, and $7 for each kids' fun run and activities ticket (ages 10 and under) with a maximum of only $15 per family.

Below is the revised schedule for MFE's Monster Dash this Sunday, November 6 at Cunningham Park:

  • 8:30 a.m. Registration
  • 9:00 a.m. Kids' Costumed Fun Run
  • 10:00 a.m. 5K Monster Dash Starts
  • 10:15 a.m. Kids' Activities and Crafts
  • 11:00 a.m. Award Ceremony

Don't forget to dress up in your Halloween costumes. Remember, it's Daylight Savings, so turn your clocks back and enjoy that "extra" hour" in the morning!
