Vote for Your Favorite Day-At-The-Beach Photo, Weekly Prize

Vote for your favorite day-at-the-beach photo in our Picture of the Week Contest.

Almost every day this summer has been a terrific day. So, it comes as no surprise that so many beautiful Day-At-The-Beach photos were submitted to our contest.  Thankfully, you the reader will help to make the choice by casting your vote. All the pictures are numbered in the caption area. Please vote by giving the photo number in the comments below. Voting starts at 4 am Saturday, Aug.18, and will end at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20. So get in your vote. One vote per person, please. The winner will be announced before 12pm on Monday. Photos submitted by regional editor Margaret Carroll-Bergman, Hingham editor Tony Catinella, Milton editor Adam Roberts and fomer Falmouth editor Emily Sussman are not official entries, but are in the photo gallery …

Add a picture of your favorite day-at-the-beach photo and you could win a $75 gift certificate in our Picture of the Week contest.

Most everyone loves to go to the beach, either for a long walk with your dog in the winter or a day of swimming and playing volleyball with friends in the summer. Massachusetts is famous for its beaches. We aren't known as the Bay State for nothing. And, for those of you who don't live on the coast, you're a short car ride away from it and there are always ponds! If you've taken a great picture of a day-at-the-beach, share it with Patch and your neighbors. Let us know in the caption: your first and last name, what town you're from, where the  photo was snapped, and any other information you think we should know.
