Two teens were charged with armed robbery on Brook Road earlier this month.
A Milton resident and a Dorchester resident were arrested for holding another teen at gunpoint and stealing a pair of sneakers on Sunday, April 21. Juwan Gooding, 17, of Milton, and Ryan Gunter, 18, of Dorchester are both being charged with armed robbery after the incident. The pair arranged to meet an acquaintance and buy sneakers from him on Sunday. They used a starter pistol or BB gun to rob the individual of the shoes, according to Deputy Police Chief Charles Paris. Milton Police were called after 8 p.m. and the suspects were arrested.

The suspect in the January armed robbery of the Tedeschi Food Shop on Randolph Avenue was recently arraigned. Civil Kervens, 20 of Roxbury, was one of five men charged in the incident that occurred just after 9:30 p.m. on January 29. According to the reports by Milton Police Detectives, Kervens and Nazareth Perkins, 40 of Mattapan, stole cash, 266 $2 scratch-off lottery tickets and 78 $10 scratch-off lottery tickets. Kervens was carrying a handgun during the robbery, according to court documents. Following the robbery, the Boston Police Department identified Brett Hannigan, 31 of Rockland, as a person of interest in the robbery.
